1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the CueBuddy app, website, or online trial page, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms.

If you do not agree to these terms, please do not continue using this service.

3. Service Description

CueBuddy provides core services including but not limited to:

• Teleprompter script input and layout
• Speed-scrolling teleprompting
• Voice-following teleprompting
• Full-screen teleprompting
• Mirror mode
• Font, color, spacing, and other display settings
• Online trial page and website content
• Subscription, one-time purchase, or other licensing services (where applicable).

We may adjust, add, optimize, or suspend service content based on product iteration, legal requirements, or platform policies.

4. Account, Purchases, and Subscriptions

If the service introduces account systems, subscriptions, one-time purchases, or other paid options, the following principles apply:

• Purchases, billing, renewals, refunds, and receipts are primarily handled through the Apple App Store system.
• If auto-renewal exists, you must be informed of pricing, cycle, cancellation method, and renewal rules before purchase.
• Subscription cancellation typically needs to be completed through Apple's subscription management interface.
• If you change devices, reinstall the app, or upgrade versions, you may need to restore purchases.
• Restore purchases is used to re-verify entitlements you have already obtained and will not require repeated payment.
• Whether paid entitlements are transferable or shareable is subject to page descriptions and platform rules.
• In the event of a refund, whether entitlements are retained is subject to Apple's processing outcome and applicable law.

5. User Content

Scripts, copy, images, videos, and other content that you input, upload, edit, import, or export in this service remain, in principle, owned by you or the rights holder authorized to use them.

You warrant that:

• You have the right to use such content
• Such content does not infringe the copyright, trademark rights, reputation rights, privacy rights, or other legitimate rights of others
• Such content does not violate laws, regulations, platform rules, or public order.

If disputes arise from your content, you shall bear the corresponding responsibility; if losses are caused to us as a result, you shall bear compensation liability in accordance with law.

6. Intellectual Property, Trademarks, and Brand Statement

CueBuddy is the brand name and source identifier of this service, and may be a trademark/trademark application that we are using, have applied for, or have registered.

The following are protected by copyright law, trademark law, and related laws:

• App name, logo, icon, launch screen, UI design
• Website page structure, copy, layout, illustrations, animations, screenshots, demo videos
• Product descriptions, FAQ, tutorials, articles, changelogs, and brand copy
• Any unauthorized imitation pages, similar identifiers, misleading promotions, or confusing use.

Without our prior written permission, no one may:

• Reproduce, modify, distribute, or commercially use these materials without authorization
• Use names, logos, icons, or visual elements that may cause confusion in similar products, promotional pages, or trademark applications
• Impersonate the official channels, partners, or authorized parties of this service.

Unless otherwise expressly stated, third-party platform names, App Store marks, Apple-related names, and other third-party trademarks belong to their respective rights holders.

7. Usage Restrictions

You agree not to, in any manner:

• Violate applicable laws or platform rules
• Upload malicious code, viruses, trojans, or attack scripts
• Attempt to bypass security restrictions, crack features, or reverse engineer (except as permitted by law)
• Disrupt service stability through automated tools, scraping, simulated clicks, or other means
• Impersonate others, mislead users, or commit fraud
• Publish infringing, illegal, insulting, harassing, obscene, violent, or otherwise inappropriate content.

8. Third-Party Services

This service may rely on or link to third-party services, such as:

• Apple App Store
• System microphone, speech recognition, or local permission capabilities
• CDN, analytics, crash analytics, or cloud storage services
• Website hosting and web browser capabilities.

The rules, availability, privacy practices, and pricing policies of third-party services are the responsibility of the third parties. We do not assume liability exceeding legal requirements for the independent conduct of third parties.

9. Privacy and Data Processing

Our personal information processing rules are set out separately in the Privacy Policy. In case of inconsistency between these terms and the Privacy Policy, the Privacy Policy and applicable law shall prevail.

By default, we prioritize local processing mode and will not use your script text, voice input, or usage settings for ad targeting or cross-app tracking.

10. Service Availability

We will make reasonable efforts to keep the service stable, accessible, and available, but do not guarantee:

• Always fault-free and uninterrupted
• Full compatibility with all browsers, systems, and devices
• Completely consistent speech recognition, microphone permission, or system capabilities in all environments
• Identical performance of the online trial page under all network conditions.

For experience differences caused by browser voice teleprompting, device permissions, or system limitations, we recommend using the app as the primary solution.

11. Suspension, Termination, and Service Adjustments

We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate part of the service within the scope permitted by law when:

• You violate these terms or applicable laws
• The service requires security maintenance, upgrades, or repairs
• Third-party platforms, system capabilities, or compliance requirements change
• You have not used cloud features for an extended period or have proactively deleted relevant data.

If the scope of service undergoes material changes, we will endeavor to provide advance notice.

12. Disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for losses caused by network, system, third-party services, device compatibility, user error, or force majeure
• We do not guarantee that your use of this service will result in commercial gain, traffic growth, or recording results
• We are not responsible for the legality of content that users input or upload themselves
• We are not liable beyond legal requirements for functional changes caused by third-party platforms, system updates, or policy changes.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, if liability disputes arise from this service, our scope of liability is generally limited to the minimum scope permitted by law, or the fees you actually paid for the service during the dispute period (if applicable).

These terms do not exclude liability that is expressly prohibited from being excluded or limited by law.

14. Amendments to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time to reflect:

• Feature changes
• Changes in laws and regulations
• Platform policy changes
• Brand, trademark, or business model adjustments.

After updates, we will publish the new version on the website or within the app and update the Document Version and Effective Date. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

Unless mandatory law provides otherwise, these terms are governed by the laws related to the operator's contact address.

If mandatory consumer protection or data protection regulations apply in your location, such mandatory provisions shall prevail.

In the event of a dispute, friendly negotiation is recommended first; if negotiation fails, the matter may be submitted to a court or arbitration body with jurisdiction in accordance with applicable law.
